Anyone struggling with flights to/from the Gulf / war affected areas - this is the review I wish someone had written before I showed up here. Come here if you need to re route your flight. It’s an emirates office on the 9th floor of the shopping center. Go to the Zara on floor 2 area and ask a security guard how to get here if you’re unsure. There is a lift close by that takes you here. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the obvious stressful situation at the moment. When you get here, ask to re-route your flight and they will give you a ticket to wait in line. The queue will probably take quite a while, we turned up at 13:50 and waited around 2 hours. Whilst you’re waiting I’d recommend that you do some research for alternative routes to your end destination, as this will help the staff members here and speed up queues. They are researching on the spot as well and it’ll make things less chaotic. ** We were told that your re-routed flight(s) must all be with the same airline carrier, so bear that in mind if there is a connecting flight etc on your route. The staff will search for alternative flights for you and help you re-route.
