The noodles were excellent and tasted very similar to what we had in Japan, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the fried chicken side dish was disappointing. After waiting about 25 minutes—by which time we had finished our noodles—the …

Had Miso Ramen as they mentioned only available in Malaysia, not even branch in Japan. Taste wise acceptable, will not give early verdict as need to try other menu as well. Overall comfy place to have ramen.

The mochis (matcha & choc) were tasty 😋 Chicken cutlet in ramen was crispy and the broth was nice. Hmm not too sure if this is ramen noodles or egg noodles though 😅 I like that it's so quiet here. A …

Good place to eat, but maybe the taste is not my palette. I find the noodles is too thick also the chicken. The soup is pretty standard creamy. They have options about the level of the creamy which is good. Maybe this restaurant is perfect for people who like fusion ramen.

I tried Kagura and Torigen at Lot 10 and did not really enjoy them, but Honulu Ramen suited my Malaysian taste much better. The original chicken broth is refreshing and does not have that raw chicken taste that usually makes me feel …

Having been a fan of the original Honolu Ramen in Shibuya, I was curious to see if the TRX outlet could live up to the hype—and it absolutely does. The Special Rich Ramen captures that same deep, soul-warming umami that made me fall in love with the OG branch. The broth is incredibly thick and creamy, which is exactly what you want from an authentic chicken paitan. It’s rare to find a spot that maintains such high standards when expanding internationally, but they’ve nailed the consistency here. The Wagyu Ramen (Original) was a standout for me; the beef was tender and added a luxurious depth to the bowl without overpowering the delicate noodles. For those who like a bit of heat, the Spicy Special Rich Ramen provides a punchy kick that balances the richness of the broth perfectly. We also shared the Spicy Fried Chicken (5 pcs), which was juicy on the inside with a satisfyingly crisp coating—definitely the best side dish to round out the meal. The atmosphere at The Exchange TRX is modern and inviting, making it a great spot for both a quick lunch or a proper sit-down dinner. Even if you haven't been to the Tokyo branches, this is easily some of the best halal ramen you can find in KL. Great service, generous portions, and flavors that truly transport you back to Japan. A must-visit for any ramen enthusiast!
