Really only good for the novelty of it. I went to try the durian-topped cendol and it was average at best. The durian was okay, but the rest of it was pretty bland in comparison and it felt like two separate dishes. If you're going for the …

Had the MSW Chendol a while back. Loved the sizeable bittersweet durian seed and chendol, but just wished that there was more gula melaka as the ice shavings itself was a little plain, with flavour coming only from the santan and durian. My …

Recently, I dropped by D.MasKing Durian Shop at Lot 10 after dinner at my friend’s restaurant, Soo Kee Mee at Hutong, and it turned out to be a very satisfying stop. The durians here are genuinely good. Prices are reasonable and on par with most durian shops, but the quality really stands out. The shop itself is comfortable, with decent seating, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy your durian rather than rushing through it. We also ordered ice kacang (mixed shaved ice), which was refreshing and delicious, perfect after a durian feast. On top of that, D.MasKing offers a wide range of durian-related products, from cookies and ice cream to fun items like slippers. Overall, it’s a great spot for durian lovers, whether you’re there for a quick treat or a relaxed dessert session. 👍
