I thought by going to my preferred CIMB branch, my issue would be resolved immediately but unfortunately, they asked me to contact customer service instead. I had to wait quite a while because I planned to terminate my personal loan and credit card. The experience wasn’t pleasant.. I noticed the staff didn’t seem very eager to assist, both with me and the uncle before me. We were both clearly unhappy. The process took longer than expected even though there weren’t many people queuing. The staff appeared too laid-back and lacked empathy in handling customer issues. I really hope CIMB can improve their efficiency and customer service attitude, especially for customers who come in with specific requests like this.
