Alois Braun Known to be the one who made the courageous venture into small leather goods, Alois took on the baton from Johann to become the company’s owner in 1933. Under his wise leadership and great foresight, the business continued to expand rapidly and another factory was added. WORLD WAR II 1940s The business took a brief downturn when war planes heavily damaged the factories and production had to be stopped. Back to former glory Rebuilding Alois rebuilt everything from ground up. By the end of 1946, the company was restored to their former powerhouse glory and production was restarted.
