Hassan Stall at Changi Village Hawker Centre
Location: 2 Changi Village Rd, #01-29 Changi Village Hawker Centre, Singapore 500002
Floor 1 · Changi Village Hawker Centre
Hassan Stall has been dishing out kampung-style Malay favourites since 1959, long before the hawker centre was built. The best-selling Mee Rebus features yellow noodles bathed in a luscious brown gravy, topped with a boiled egg, bean sprouts, Chinese celery, fried shallots, and green chilli slices. The Perlis-style Laksa offers thick noodles in a fragrant, lemongrass-laced gravy, while the Lontong and handmade Curry Puffs (S$1 each) are beloved by regulars. Recipes are passed down from the late founder Hassan, with his children Azman and Suzana now running the stall alongside aunt Rokiah, who prepares the laksa and epok-epok from scratch each morning.
This stall is perfect for heritage food lovers, Pulau Ubin day-trippers, and anyone seeking an authentic taste of old Singapore. Located near the ferry terminal, it offers a convenient stop for a hearty breakfast or lunch, with no Wi-Fi but plenty of soulful flavour. Whether you are a lifelong regular or a curious newcomer, Hassan Stall welcomes you to savour a bowl of history that has survived urban change and continues to warm hearts every day from 6am to 2pm.

My husband and I love the old school taste of their lontong and mee siam. The lontong is light and tasty and their mee siam is like how I use to eat it at St Hilda’s school tuck shop back in the 70s. It has a good mix of assam and peanut flavour. A must try when you come to Changi Village food centre.

My family highly recommended me Hassan's Meet Rebus however I find the gravy to be so so. I think it was due to their version is less sweet and more salty to my liking. Service was fast and friendly .
